The Nature Perserve

Nature Preserve
Feb 24
Today I went with the Pre-Unit and Grade 1 to the Nature Preserve here in Kitale. Now I know what Kenyan’s think of a perserve. What this place had was deformed animals, a cow with 3 eyes 4 horns and 2 mouths, sheep 3 or 2 legs, and other various odd looking animals. They even have a bull that’s short! I mean short, that sucker was so short he was adorable. I wasn’t that impressed with the nature preserve. I was hoping to see some animals that were endangered or something, but there was only deformed animals. Poor things.
I have an iPod Nano here with me and I’m having a difficult time with it. It won’t turn off. I charge it and the next morning it’s almost out of power. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong with it. UGGGG it’s driving me a little nuts.

  1. From the Apple Troubleshooting website. If this doesn't help it suggests resetting your nano. If you have a different generation let me know and I can look that up.

iPod nano (6th generation) intelligently manages battery life and playback time.

This article explains the behavior of the Sleep/Wake function on the iPod nano (6th generation).
    Products Affected

    iPod nano (6th generation)

If the iPod nano is paused, and you press the Sleep/Wake button to turn off the screen, the following behavior will take place:

    * For 36 hours after pressing the Sleep/Wake button and turning off the screen, iPod nano is in Standby, and will quickly wake up when you press the Sleep/Wake button again.

    * After 36 hours in Standby with no activity, iPod nano will shut down automatically. Pressing the Sleep/Wake button after iPod nano is shut down will turn on iPod nano, and boot to the main Home screen.

(Your iPod nano is considered paused if there is no music or FM radio playback, or an active pedometer session.)
    Additional Information

    * A fully charged iPod nano provides up to 24 hours of music playback time.

It has snowed about 3 fluffy inches here. Mr. Brodie has had a GREAT time running around the yard playing in the snow. Gorgeous dog covered in snow. Wanted to take some pictures for you, but was too lazy to get dressed!
