I was asked

I was asked if I was ever worried about being charged by an elephant or lion while I'm walking through fields?  OK, just so everyone knows, I'm not even close to any elephants or lions. The largest wildlife I've heard here in Kitale are monkeys, aside from the rhino that I petted at Capt. Davies. My biggest worry when I walk through a field is whether or not the bull will charge me, and I do my best to stay away from him!

  1. Ha ha! I hear monkeys can be pretty dangerous too. Especially when your eating a banana :-)

Take care and have a safe day

  2. I am so grateful for your blog not only for the great entertainment value of your posts but learning about Africa. I should have paid attention in geography class because I had to look up where you were. Of course I knew Africa but did not know all the countries that were included in Africa. So of course I also wondered about the animals. I think a few of us have a image of Africa has covered in grass lands covered with Lions, hippos and giraffes.
Thanks Cate for understanding the area better. This is way better than geography class!
